Sean and Mariah met seven years ago at a New Year’s Eve party hosted by a mutual friend. The next day Sean left to go to Washington state for work, they spent three months texting and Skyping before getting to meet in person again. They have been together ever since. Sean always said he was going to propose in our living room and Mariah always thought he was joking. Until Mardi Gras 2017 when he called her into the living room and to her surprise he was down on one knee. Mariah asked repeatedly if this was a joke before even saying YES!

Sean works as an architectural sheet metal worker, traveling all over the country. Mariah is a registered nurse for the Southern Illinois HSHS hospitals and travels to five local hospitals. As a couple they enjoy being outdoors, jeeping, and being with friends and family. Although life can be very busy the couple always finds time to be together.

The couple is looking forward to their honeymoon in Hawaii! They plan to enjoy soaking up the sun on the beach, exploring the island in a jeep, snorkeling, and just taking a break for a week spending time together!
