We begin our adventures in beautiful Vancouver. Since groups will be arriving at different times throughout the day, you’re able to get settled in and venture out and explore the city on your own. Dinner is on you this evening and is a great opportunity to explore Vancouver’s vibrant culinary scene.

Day 2: Vancouver from the Mountains to the Waterfront

Our first full day, we’ll be traveling in an enclosed gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain where you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the peak! You’ll experience gorgeous views from every direction. While here, we’ll join a ranger and meet two grizzlies that were rescued in 2001. Later, we’ll visit Stanley Park, Canada’s renowned urban rainforest. We’ll follow the famous seawall and experience everything from the mountains and beaches to historic landmarks, gardens and scenery along the coast. Before the day ends, we’ll stop at Granville Island Public Market where you can peruse and shop artisan foods, handmade goods and more. Tonight, you’ll want to dine with fellow travelers at a local restaurant.

Day 3: All Aboard the Rocky Mountaineer

This day, we’ll travel from Vancouver to Kamloops aboard the famous Rocky Mountaineer. You’ll enjoy fantastic views from this domed coach as we travel through the green farmlands of Fraser Valley and toward the majestic Coast Mountains. This dramatic scenery offers deep green forests, rushing river canyons and snowcapped peaks. We’ll follow Fraser River to the raging white waters of Hell’s Gate below. All of this gives way to the semi-arid desert terrain approaching Kamloops. This night, you’ll leave the train for an overnight stay before continuing east.
