Mykal and I met May 29, 2015 through our mutual friends Matt and Kaitlin. Mykal was really looking forward to a calming night in so Matt sweet talked him into going out with him. Right before Mykal left his mom said, “You’re going to meet the girl of your dreams tonight.”. Later that night Mykal introduced himself to me and that’s where our story began.
We would date for 3 years before Mykal got down on one knee. Mykal proposed on May 26, 2018. I had gone back to school and had just graduated so his parents were hosting an open house. I was just relieved to be finished with school and to be having so much fun with dear friends and family to really notice anything suspicious. Before dinner, Mykal’s dad was saying thank you for all the love and support when Mykal asked the most wonderful question.
We are set to get married on September 28, 2019 and I can’t wait to begin the next big adventure with my best friend and love of my life!
